Group Workshops

  • You can register for a group workshop if you are a rising junior or senior in high school.

  • Classes will have a minimum of 3 students and maximum of 6.

  • 1:1 Introduction Consultation.

Group Workshops offer students a dynamic way to learn while actively working and receiving immediate feedback on application materials. Each session includes a detailed presentation from me, followed by time to work, and personalized 1:1 support via breakout rooms. Think of it as a focused, high-impact “Boot Camp” designed to build skills and momentum.

What’s the structure for Group Workshops?

Each Group Workshop begins with a 15–45 minute presentation on the topic, providing students with a clear foundation before diving into their own work. During the workshop portion, students have dedicated time to work independently while also rotating for 1:1 feedback with me.

When is the Group Workshop a better choice than 1:1?

Workshops give students extended time to work during class while receiving real-time feedback. In contrast, 1:1 sessions tend to focus more on immediate feedback than dedicated work time. This makes Group Workshops an ideal setting to develop and refine early drafts, especially if you’re looking for a more structured and intensive learning experience. For parents, it’s also more cost-effective!

Will I get enough 1:1 time with you?

Yes! Each student will receive between 30 minutes - 1 hour of 1:1 time depending on the workshop. For longer workshops, each student may get up to 2 hours with me! I rotate between students for 1:1 time.

Can I sign up for just a few workshops?

Absolutely! I value providing personalized and flexible plans for all families. You are welcome to choose the workshops you find especially valuable. However, Workshops have strict registration deadlines, so inquire about availability ASAP!
